The Store Room Self Storage - Charity Event Print E-mail
Wednesday, 21 October 2009 10:48

Hi!  This is Jennifer Hastings, General Manager at The Store Room self storage in West Palm Beach.

I would like to share a little bit of information with our new, past and current self storage customers.  This year so far has been a rough year for all of us, especially those with special needs.  I teamed up with Muscular Dystrophy Association (Jerry's Kids) to help make a change and reach out to more people.  So far we have been successful in raising funds for children and adults that suffer from this disease.  As each year passes we think of things that can be done to help others as well as ourselves.  With each donation, it brings another level of help.  It can be as small as a flu shot or as big as a wheel chair or leg braces.  Each donation is also Tax Deductable.  So for everyone who would like to donate to the MDA please contact me at 561-659-2903 or you can email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The Store Room self storage is excited to help make a change in people's lives and we hope you are too!

***UPDATE 11 / 2 / 2009***

Thank everyone for making a difference and donating to MDA. It was a successful event however we did not meet our $100,000 goal but we did collect $89,823. We are still collecting donations if anyone would like to open their hearts to help find a cure for Muscular Dystrophy. All donations stay local to help children and adults in our area with MD. We all look forward to the day when cures are found and there is no need to collect any longer. Until then, we count on kindness and generosity of wonderful people in our communities like you. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.

P.S. The W.P.B. police actually came and arrested me it was great fun for a great cause.

 Jennifer Hastings, G.M.
